SUMMARY:

A Youth Ministry Resident at United City is responsible for furthering the mission and vision of UCY by partnering with parents, discipling students and developing leaders.

Residents are expected to have a passion for guiding and supporting young individuals in their spiritual journey, help develop engaging programs that foster meaningful relationships, and implement systems that promote personal growth and community involvement within the youth ministry context. Residents will also be developed personally and professionally through service and unique ministry opportunities at United City.

We truly believe that it is our mission to help students Find Life in Jesus and Bring Life to everyone around them. A student ministry resident will help the UC Youth Staff team to achieve this mission. Residents will be asked to work alongside the UC Youth team to all ministry strategy by brainstorming, planning, and coordinating experiences.

RESPONSIBILITIES:

• Meet Weekly to mentor and disciple students in our ministry.
• Be actively involved in relationships on weekly basis through campus ministry and other relational environments.
• Initiate Regular Communication with Parents on Youth activities with updates on students personal growth/development (as needed).
• Assist in executing details for camps, events and experiences in UC YOUTH.
• Communicate Effectively with the UC YOUTH Team.
• Work alongside UC Youth Staff to successfully recruit, onboard, and train new serve team.
• Manage all assigned tasks in Asana as well as any other administrative/logistics needs that arise.
• Manage assigned workflows + Attend Weekly Meetings
