College & Graduate Credit

We are actively developing partnerships with seminaries to provide graduate credit opportunities for UC Residents. Our goal is to make it possible for you to earn credit toward your degree while gaining real, hands-on ministry experience.
In the meantime, you can check with your current college or seminary to see if they will grant field education or internship credit for your time in the Residency. Many schools have pathways for this, and we’re happy to provide the necessary documentation to support your request.

Funding

The UC Residency is a funded ministry position through a partnership with Reliant and the generosity of United City Church. You’ll receive world-class coaching from Reliant to raise support — equipping you with a skill every ministry leader needs — while ensuring your needs are met during your Residency year

Housing

We’ll connect you with other residents, church members, and trusted partners to help you explore housing options that fit your needs and budget. Many residents choose shared apartments or stay with friends and family in the area.
