Production Residency
DESCRIPTION
The Production Resident supports the functions of the UC Production Department by providing high-level administrative assistance to the Production Director. This role involves managing production resources, coordinating with the production team, and serving as the primary contact for visitors and guests regarding the United City Production experience. This position requires a joyful, encouraging, and Christ-like spirit, along with a good sense of humor and the ability to effectively interact with a diverse group of people.
KEY RESULTS
The Production Resident aids in the organization and administration of the department, assisting the Production Director with the daily operations of the office and events.
RESPONSIBILITIES
- Collaborate with the Production Director and UC Staff to support the vision and direction of the church’s production efforts
- Coordinate the production team’s tasks and responsibilities to enhance productivity
- Manage scheduling, details, and events related to UC Production
- Maintain the Production Director’s calendar, arranging meetings, conferences, and retreats
- Assist in planning and preparing materials for various events and meetings
- Handle emails, phone calls, and other forms of communication
- Ensure the maintenance of production equipment and spaces, organizing and replacing equipment as needed
- Support the production department in all capacities as opportunities arise
- Assist in planning and executing external production opportunities
- Participate in planning and execution for Next Gen production environments
- Assist in recording and editing production content when necessary
- Schedule and oversee production environments for Next Gen events
- Provide support to the Creative Department as needed
- Lead and oversee practices and services for the UCYA production team
- Support United City Church events both administratively and creatively
- Perform additional tasks as assigned
- Manage the onboarding process for new production team members
- Supervise and contribute to the development of the production team and services
EXPERIENCE REQUIRED
The Production Residency requires at least three years of experience in production and creative arts. Candidates should have a solid understanding of audio, visual, and lighting. Proficiency in Pro-Presenter, recording software, Microsoft Office, Zoom, Asana, lighting software, and Planning Center Online is essential.
