Summary

As a Kids Resident at United City Church, your primary responsibility is to support our ministry’s mission of engaging families, reaching kids, and facilitating life change.

You will work closely with the Kids Team to lead UCKids and assist in all aspects of the ministry. UCKids is a great first step into church leadership, as you will be involved in all aspects of the church at work. There are many moving pieces in a given service, such as security, check-in, large group teaching, worship, small group teaching, and Audio-Visual. All the while, you are simultaneously working on building relationships with your serve team and the kids in your area.

Essential Responsibilities

Regarding responsibilities, we believe in a mentorship teaching style where we will partner you with a full-time staff member so you can see what it takes to run UCKids day in and day out. Some of your responsibilities will look like the following.

• Help coordinate, communicate, and execute specific ministry initiatives, including Sunday & Wednesday services.
• Dream, plan, and execute ministry events.
• Assist with recruiting, screening, interview coordination, development, and deployment of serve team.
• Assist with prepping curriculum for elementary-aged kids.
• Assist in promotional, communication, and marketing initiatives via social media, print materials, emails, and other coordinated efforts.
• Attend and participate in all required events and activities for United City Church
• Attend all weekly meetings, including all-staff meetings and any related functions.
• Other administrative and logistical tasks or responsibilities that unexpectedly arise.
