Girls Ministry Residency
SUMMARY:
The primary responsibility of the Girls Ministry Resident is to partner with the Girl’s Minister to oversee the health of girls ministry at United City Church.
Because of their unique needs, middle school and high school girls need organized, intentional, and relational connection. The girls ministry resident will partner with the girl’s minister to constantly evaluate the health of girls, small groups, leaders, and semesterly events to ensure that they best serve the needs of, and reach, more girls in middle and high school.
RESPONSIBILITIES:
- Relationally connect with students through campus ministry efforts across local Middle schools
- Spiritually develop middle school girls through regular discipleship meetings, decision follow up, and leading a multiple groups such as Heart and Soul and Life Groups
- Manage multiple workflows to properly steward the spiritual activity in the lives of Middle School Girls
- Plan and execute various Girl’s Ministry events
- Assist in planning and execution of Girl World, as well as various global UCY events (Conference, Encounter WKND, Camp, etc,.)
- Contribute to UCY Wednesday nights through assisting in planning set flows, creative/environment elements, and hosting perspective Serve Team members
- Work alongside UC Youth Staff to successfully recruit, onboard, and train new serve team
- Attend UC Staff Meetings, UCY Staff meetings, and weekly one on-ones, as well as various additional meetings
