Español Residency
What is the residency like?
Our residency program is more than classroom teaching. It’s a hands-on experience where you’ll serve in a close community of authentic, caring, and fun ministry leaders. The goal is not to fill your head with knowledge but to inspire your heart to deepen your love for Christ and give you a vision of a healthy local church. This journey will also lead to your personal growth and development.
A week in the residency starts with a weekly ministry team meeting and transitions to planning ministry area needs for the rest of the week—many of those responsibilities will include organizing workflows, creating and delegating tasks to Español serve teams, and responding to pastoral care needs in and around Español ministries.
Once a month, there will be lunch and spiritual formation with the Español pastor to ensure Residents are in a formation period that allows them to develop and grow as ministry leaders.
